Amma means Mother.
I first learned about Amma through a couple of my friends who attended one of her dashram, giving hug to people who wait by the hundreds for their turn.
I recently read Amma’s biography, written by Judith Cornell, PH D, leaving in Northern California, who followed Amma to understand her.
Reading this book has inspired me, given me one of the best lessons of humility, and offered me a great breath of hope for humanity. I also believe that I am now connected with Amma, like million others, even though I have not been in her physical presence.
Check out Amma’s website for the rest of the her tour in North America and Canada for this year. If you have a chance to be there, use it 🙂
